Durrani to attend next NSC meeting

NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani will attend the next meeting of the National Security Council.
This was decided at the Central Executive Council meeting held here yesterday under the chairmanship of Chief Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman.
According to a source, some of the member of the Council showed their reservation to this decision, but the Maulana maintained that it was a need of the hour that Durrani should attend the meeting.
The meeting expressed serious concerns over the forward bloc, and demanded that the heads of the constituent religious parties of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal should be asked to explain their position on this in the next meetings of the party heads. December 13, 2005
