20 couples wed in JI relief camp

Al-Khidmat Foundation arranged mass wedding of 20 couples at the relief camp Bela Noor Shah with the collaboration of Islam Garh Welfare Trust.The wedding ceremony of the brides and grooms living along with their families in the relief camps was performed with simplicity. The ceremony was participated by JI Muzaffarabad Amir and patron of relief activities, Sh Aqeelur Rehman Advocate, relief Incharge Arshad Nadeem Khan, Javed Iqbal Khawaja, JI women wing leader Dr Farzana, office bearers of Islam Garh welfare trust, relief workers and volunteers, and the family members of the couples.The guests were served with food provided by a renowned chain of Pulao Kabab. Addressing on the occasion, Shaikh Aqeel said their attempt was to provide some happiness to the families of couples and other refugees in the camps so that they could come out of the mental and psychological pressure the great catastrophe has brought upon them. He appealed to the government to provide corrugated iron sheets for the refugees and quake victims so that they could be prevented from the harshness of the cold weather.
